§ 8.1. Review by planning commission required.

The Darlington county council shall not adopt an amendment to this ordinance until the proposed amendment has been transmitted to the Darlington county planning commission for comments and recommendations and either:
(A)

The Darlington county planning commission has transmitted its comments and recommendations to the Darlington county council and these comments have been made available to the public at least 15 calendar days prior to adoption of the amendment; or

(B)

Ninety calendar days have elapsed since the proposed amendment was submitted to the Darlington county council.
